Organizational Communication Essentials: Effective Strategies and Practices for Successful Professional Outcomes

This course will explore the direct and indirect relationship between thoughtful communication practices and the ability to successfully achieve organizational and interpersonal goals. Participants will expand their own communication practices while gaining greater insights into their own organization’s communication as well. Through this course, students will become increasingly thoughtful, agile, and empathetic communicators, with a greater ability to successfully communicate with a wide-ranging audience on a variety of topics, circumstances, and contexts. Students should prepare to be co-collaborators throughout the semester, adding personal insights and expertise to the conversation.
