Advisory Board

The Department of Earth & Environmental Science and the College of Liberal and Professional Studies are committed to providing the highest quality academic preparation for graduate students seeking professional careers or advancement in applied geosciences. We constantly strive to keep abreast of trends in this diverse field and to that end, we have established the External Advisory Board in Earth & Environmental Science made up of accomplished professionals at the forefront of their industries. This group meets quarterly with the department to discuss trends in employment, required skills, and academic preparation needed in their fields. Members of this board represent a wide range of fields including environmental consulting, green infrastructure, and the public water supply. Recent recommendations from the board have resulted in the new online MSAG program, and an optional but highly recommended professional writing course.
