The Auditor Program at the University of Pennsylvania’s College of Liberal and Professional Studies (LPS) invites intellectually curious individuals to audit undergraduate courses in Penn's School of Arts and Sciences (SAS). Auditors simply attend a course and are not responsible for coursework, and do not receive grades or academic credit(s).
Available courses
Students may take up to four course units a semester through the auditor program. Only undergraduate courses within the School of Arts and Sciences are available for auditing. Please review the course roster on the registrar’s website to locate a course of interest to you.
To register for a course, complete the Auditor Program Registration Form and email it to lps@sas.upenn.edu.
Tuition and fees
Auditors will be charged full undergraduate tuition for registered course(s). Tuition for each course will be determined by whether the course is offered in the daytime through the College of Arts and Sciences or in the evening through the College of Liberal and Professional Studies. Please refer to the tuition tables below.
