Art and creativity offer a rich experiential learning opportunity to develop personal and interpersonal skills. This understanding builds on existing research and literature as well as in the experience of the instructors implementing art and creativity. This course offers an opportunity to create a safe environment to learn, practice and develop key relational skills using art and creativity, shared learning experiences and reflection, modeling newly acquired skills for the participants' professional and personal practice. This experiential course will support the development of relational skills, such as interpersonal connection, presence, and empathy using art and creativity. It is a 100% hands-on course that requires personal commitment, an open mind, and a desire to learn and grow in new, non-traditional and effective ways. Throughout the course, participants will assess their own relational skills, choose areas for development, and work on enhancing their continuing growth and development using the means provided. Participants will be able to use the tools and models to continue their development after the course as well as for implementing them in their coaching practice or leadership roles.
