Course Description
This course meets online on Wednesdays from June 1st to July 20th and meets in person on three Saturdays: June 4th; July 9th and 23rd. This course is designed for those who want to increase their emotional intelligence awareness and understanding and develop their emotional intelligence skills. Students will explore the five competencies of emotional intelligence - self-awareness, self-management, motivation, empathy, and relationship management - using art as a creative tool for experiential learning. The course is a deep and innovative way of learning. It will engage students in an interactive and reflective way. It is a highly experiential, 100% hands-on course that requires personal commitment, an open mind and a desire to learn and grow in new, non-traditional and effective ways Participants will be able to use the tools and models to continue their development after the course as well as for implementing them in their coaching practice or leadership roles. This course is designed to: Develop emotional intelligence skills for successful relationship-building and transformational actions such as coaching, leadership, management and consulting. Support participant transformation based on strength-building. Provide effective and creative tools for experiential learning in the areas of coaching and leadership stimulate and encourage creativity and innovation in coaching practices and in the leadership space.
