Johnson & Johnson, Director, Sustainability
Phil Dahlin is Director of Sustainability for Johnson & Johnson and is responsible for the operation of the pharmaceutical sector’s (Janssen) Global Citizenship & Sustainability Council. The Council is responsible for ensuring progress towards J&J’s HealthyFuture sustainability goals, as well as addressing pharmaceutical-specific stakeholder issues and needs (e.g., access to medicines). In his current role, Phil also serves as the point person on environmental policy and program issues related to the pharmaceutical sector and represents J&J on a number of industry councils and teams, such as the Pharmaceutical Product Stewardship Work Group (PPSWG) in the US; the Coalition for Sustainable Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices (CSPM) in the UK; and in a number of cross industry groups, including The Sustainability Consortium’s Home and Personal Care Work Group, the Corporate Eco Forum (CEF) and the Institute for Global Environmental Leadership (IGEL), where he serves on the Corporate Advisory Board.
