Course Description
The Systems Theory and Analysis course will delve into the fundamental principles of systems thinking and equip students with the tools to analyze and address complex organizational challenges. The course will cover the following key areas: (1) Introduction to Systems Thinking, (2) Systems Analysis Techniques, (3) Organizational Dynamics through a Systems Lens; (4)Integration with Organizational Strategy; (5) Connecting systems thinking to strategic planning and decision-making; and (6) Application of Systems Theory in Practice. Course Objectives: • Understand the foundational principles of systems thinking. • Develop proficiency in using various systems analysis tools. • Apply systems thinking to analyze and solve complex organizational issues. • Evaluate the impact of systemic factors on organizational dynamics. • Integrate systems thinking into strategic decision-making processes. Non-Dynamics students: Please include a brief job description in your Permissions Request.
