Applied Geosciences Program Virtual Information Session

We invite you to join the online Applied Geosciences Program team for a virtual information session on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.

The Applied Geosciences Program is fully online, offering a master's degree, certificates, and individual course-taking options. During this virtual information session, a member of the Applied Geosciences Program team will discuss the online experience, program features, our curriculum, and application details. There will be time at the end of the session for questions.

Master of Behavioral and Decision Sciences graduate tackles coronavirus unemployment

After her family and friends lost their jobs to COVID-19, Sigal Spitzer (Master of Behavioral and Decision Sciences ’20) launched a job-hunting website, I Lost My Job To Covid (ILMJTCV), for the millions of Americans who were also laid off. She co-founded the website with her husband and brother, and partnered with two other Penn students to build out the platform.
